Chess Pan Armenian I Olympiad in Armenia
August 14-23, 2010



Within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Festival will take place Chess Pan Armenian I Olympiad from August 14 to 23, 2010.

For Olympiad participation 10 chess teams from different countries of the World will arrive to Armenia.

Olympiad opening and closing ceremonies will take place accordingly on August 14 and 23 at 20:00 in Chess Academy of Armenia.

IV Festival’s
“Fine art’s days” in Armenia and Artsakh
from July 22 to August 23

     From July 22 to 29, 2010 were organized “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival’s “Fine art’s days” under the high patronage of RA President, in Armenia and Artsakh. Approximately 1300 participants, among them dancing-groups, choirs, musical ensembles, troupes, soloists and Diaspora media representatives from 13 countries of the World (Armenia, Russian Federation, France, Iran, Canada, Lebanon, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, NKR, Czech Republic, USA) participated to the Festival. 
     Festival’s solemn opening ceremony took place in Yerevan Republic Square, which started with delegation march and was followed by concert program and luxurious firework.
     Within the frames of the Festival were arranged various cultural events in concert halls, open air squares and RA army military units. Read more

The customer: “One nation, one culture” Fund, which is in Yerevan, 22 Saryan street, announces an open competition, which will be held in one stage.
The participant, who will be recognized as a winner of the competition, will be offered to sign “Transport services’ render” contract, by defined order.

applications’ receive deadline is extended

     We inform, that at Diaspora numerous creative groups’ and organizations’ request, the deadline of “Armenian executive art days’ event’s participation application receive is extended till June 10, 2010, which will be arranged within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival from 22 to 29 July, 2010 in Armenia and Artsakh.

     The announced competition with MAMM/P-02/10 cipher about “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian IV Festival’s advertisement materials’ computer design and print works’ serve buying process, published by “One nation, one culture” Fund in “Hayastani Hanrapetutjun” daily newspaper on May 11, 2010, consider no longer valid for the purchase object’s technical character’s change reason.

Visit to Lori and Gegharkunik regions
     Within the frames of “Armenian executive art days” preparatory works, organized within the sphere of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival 2010 from July 22 to 29, 2010, the current concert-musters took place in Lori and Gegharkunik regions on May 11 and 14, 2010.
     The interest of region’s creative groups and soloists towards the Festival is greater. About that testifies preparatory serious works – realized in regions, creative groups’ active participation, as well as, the speech level – represented to the muster by them.
     To the mentioned events participated regional councils’ and Municipalities’ representatives, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan and art director Armen Manukian.
     One of the main aims of the muster organization is that, that is necessary to give appropriate creative advices, directions – hence from the Festival demands, to the creative groups and soloists, to which reverberated Fund’s art director Armen Manukian in his final speeches.
     Was noticeable the interest and impatience of participants – to specify their possible participation to the Festival a day before.
     The next concert-muster will take place on May 18, 2010 in RA Aragatsotn region’s Ashtarak city’s culture house.

Concert-muster in Kotayk region

     The current concert-muster took place in RA Kotayk region’s Nor Gegh’s newly built culture’s house on April 29, 2010.
     The concert hall was crowded. Dancing ensembles in national costumes, arrived from region’s different communities, were waiting for their speech with impatience.
     Event was organized in a high level. Several newly-created ensembles participated to the concert-muster and brought a new respiration with their programs and beautiful stage costumes to the regional concert-muster.
     To the event were present RA Kotayk regional vice-governor Levon Mikaelyan, the head of Regional Council working-staff, Regional Council’s culture responsible, village headman of Nor Gegh. From Yerevan participated Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan, art director Armen Manukyan, who expressed his great thankfulness to concert-musters’ all participant ensembles and soloists - highly estimating the work of Kotayk Regional Council and Nor Gegh Village Community to the mentioned concert-muster’s organizational process, in his final speech.
     The next concert-muster will take place in RA Lory region on May 11, 2010.

Concert – musters in Republic regions

(April – May 2010)
     For the purpose of Republic regions’ creative groups’ and soloists’ choice, participating to “Armenian executive art days’ events from July 22 to 29, 2010, within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival, the Fund, supported by RA regional Councils, organizes regional concert-musters in Republic regions from April 10. The mentioned concert-musters had been already organized in RA Ararat and Armavir regions. Events were organized in the high level: with programs - proper to Festival demands and stage dressing, passed in a Festival atmosphere.
     At the mentioned events were present RA Armavir regional governor Ashot  Ghahramanyan, RA Ararat regional vice-governor Samvel Minasyan, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan, art director Armen Manukyan, as well as, Regional Councils and Municipality other representatives.
     The next concert-muster will take place in RA Kotayk region on April 29, 2010.

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Cultural IV Festival
events’ start has already begun

Fine Art’s Pan Armenian exhibition in Yerevan,
devoted to Armenian Genocide’s 95th Anniversary
     Within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival’s “Fine art’s days’” events,  opened “Fine Art’s Pan Armenian Exhibition, devoted to Armenian Genocide’s 95th Anniversary” on April 22, 2010 in Yerevan History Museum. The event undertook RA Ministry of Diaspora by Yerevan Municipality support. The organizers are: “One nation, one culture” Fund, Yerevan History Museum, Russian Armenians’ Union, Painters’ Union of Armenia and Lebanon “Noyan Tapan” exhibition hall.
     In the exhibition were exhibited 60 creations of Armenia, USA, Canada, France, Lebanon, Syria, Georgia and Artsakh painters and sculptors.
     Yerevan History Museum submitted 30 rare documentary photos about the Genocide for the first time, which were made in opened orphanages of Yerevan, Etchmiadzin and Dilijan one year later after the Great Genocide.
     The exhibition will be open till April 30, 2010.

     On March 4, 2010 was affirmed “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival’s program and realized events’ list by RA Government.

Within the frames of the Festival is foreseen to organize various cultural events, Congresses, Armenian culture’s different spheres’ main tasks’ discussions, professional escorts’ creation, master-classes for dancing-masters and choir-masters, tours and other events, during the year.

Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s Conference

     In February 9, 2010 in RA Ministry of Diaspora took place “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s sitting, where “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s President, RA minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan was in the chair.
     During the sitting Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan summarized Fund’s activity 2009, the realized projects – during the year.
     In 2009 completed Fund’s creation’s 5 year, devoted to which numerous events were realized.
One of the important events of the year was also the event – devoted to Vazgen Sargsyan’s 50th Anniversary in Yerevan and regions of Republic.
     The Council gave a positive appraisal to Fund’s annual activity 2010.
     Then, were discussed Fund’s programs’ drafts of 2010. Taking into consideration, that 2010 is announced to be “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival’s year, thoroughly was discussed events’ projects, foreseen within the sphere of the Festival, among them – “Art Festival”, “Armenian Executive Art’s representatives’ Pan Armenian Congress”, “Mass – media representatives’ Congress”, troupes’ tours and many other events. Numerous suggestions were made by Trustees’ Council members about Festival programs and financial tasks.
     As a result of discussions, “One nation, one culture” Festival’s program accepted with some editions and additions.

Meeting in RA Kotayk region

      On December 24, 2009, took place “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan’s and art director Armen Manukian’s meeting with region’s creative groups’ leaders in RA Kotayk region’s Hrazdan city.
     During the meeting was discussed the project draft of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival, organized in 2010 in Armenia and Artsakh, as well as, region’s creative groups’ participation principals of the mentioned Festival.
     Was acquired a conditionality to arrange a concert- review in the region in 2010, where will be chosen creative groups and soloists from the region, who will participate during the Festival 2010.

A TV talk invitation by TV-5


     In view of Spitak earthquake’s 21st years, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan, art director Armen Manukian and RA Shirak regional governor’s advisor Hasmik Kirakosian, by invitation of Mark Saghatelian, were on a visit to his author TV program. During the interview were submitted joint realized projects by the Fund, as well as, with Shirak regional council in calamity belt of past 5 years.

Festival-competition in RA Lori region

On December 5, 2009, by RA Lori Regional Council’s invitation, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan and art director Armen Manukian participated in “Lori regional competition-Festival of ethnographic and folk choreography”, to which participated Vanadzor, Alaverdi, Stepanavan, Tashir and Spitak city and rural communities’ dance ensembles.
After concert program’s end, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan performed with her final speech, expressing her words of thankfulness to Festival organizers and participants, as well as, awarded diplomas and letters of thanks to
several creative groups, on behalf of the Fund.

The Fund congratulated those employers
of Ministry of Diaspora of RA,
who assumed the post of civil service.

     On December 4, 2009, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan participated during Ministry of Diaspora staff’s civil employees’ “Swear ceremony”, to which participated several state, public and cultural workers.
     The President of RA civil service Manvel Badalyan opened the event with welcome speech, then took place Ministry’s  17 workers’ swear ceremony , after which the minister of Diaspora of RA - Hranush Hakobyan performed with her speech.
     Fund’s Executive director T. Poghosyan, on behalf of Fund’s all staff, first congratulated RA Ministry of Diaspora, in regard of its creation’s 1st Anniversary, afterwards, sent her congratulations to those ministry workers, who gave their solemn swear on the mentioned day.

“One nation, one culture” Fund celebrated it’s creation’s 5th Anniversary in Komitas Chamber Music House, on November 13, 2009.
The aim of the event was to represent Fund’s 5 year’s activity results, Fund’s staff and partners, in virtue of whose joint efforts and cooperation were realized numerous projects in Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora.
During the event were invited and participated several departments’, RA Regional Councils’, creative unions’, state ensembles’ and other structures’ representatives, Fund’s Trustees’ Councils’ members, culture workers and other entities.    
With her welcome speech performed RA Minister of Diaspora, Trustees’ Council’s President Hranush Hakobian during the Jubilee evening.

She congratulated warmly Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s members, Executive authority’s staff and all the present ones apropos of Fund’s 5th jubilee, particularly mentioning Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian’s and art director Armen Manoukian’s expended efforts in Fund’s realization and organization and arrangement of 2004-2008 “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festivals process.
The Minister ended her speech with the following words:
- “We are sure, that 5 years old “One nation, one culture” Fund will continue its further activity – in favour of our spiritual cultural Homeland’s subsequent development”.
    

Then, performed Vice-minister of RA Ministry of culture – Davit Muradian.
In his word of thankfulness he highly estimated the role of the Fund to join folk wide mass round national- artistic values, favour to cultural life’s enlivening in regions of Armenia, as well as, Armenia – Diaspora cultural ties’ strengthening process. After all, Davit Muradian represented also the jubilee congratulation – sent by RA minister of culture, simultaneously announcing the minister’s order – to reward with diploma of RA Ministry of culture to “One nation, one culture” Fund. 
     



     Informational and community relations’ deputy head of department of RA Ministry of Defence, colonel  –Felix Poghosian also congratulated Fund’s Jubilee by RA Ministry of Defence.

     Highly estimating the cooperation between the Fund and Ministry of Defence of previous years – directed to young generations’ military – patriotic upbringing, by order of RA Minister of Defence, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan was awarded with Garegin Nzhdeh medal of RA MD, art director Armen Manukian – with Andranik Ozanian medal, several employees were awarded with diplomas and valuable souvenirs.    


RA language State inspection – in virtue of head of inspection – Laurenti Mirzoyan also congratulated the Fund, who awarded the Fund with inspection’s diploma apropos of having a great deposit in Armenian language’s propagandize, development and dissemination and Fund’s foundation’s 5th Anniversary process.
     

    

RA Shirak regional governor’s advisor, RA Honoured culture worker Hasmik Kirakosian also congratulated Fund’s jubilee with particular warmth. In her welcome speech, she particularly attached importance to the active cooperation between the Fund and regional council, in myriad essence cultural projects’ realization process in regions. 
    


      

     Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s previous President Karine Khodikian also congratulated Fund’s 5th Anniversary. Highly estimating Fund’s past years’ activity and its leaders – Executive director T. Poghosyan’s and art director’s A. Manukian’s great investments in Fund’s realization process, she wished success to Fund’s all staff – in forthcoming years’ all undertakings and programs’ realization process. 



     During the evening were also represented letters of congratulations received from several organizations of Diaspora, Armenia during the year, among them – Armenian Choreography Union of  California, ARF /Armenian Revolutionary Federation/ Supreme Body, “Narek” culture and education center of Krasnodar, Armenian Catholic Union’s “Knar” chorus /Damask, Syria/, Armenian cultural “Nairi” Union /Iran/, “New generation” cultural union / Syria, Damask /, Pan Armenian games’ participants’ International Association /Georgia, Tbilisi/, “Khachqar”Armenian cultural center /RF, Krasnodar/, “Nairi” Armenian Folk dances’ ensemble /RF, Nizhni Novgorod/ and many others.  
   During the whole evening, congratulation speeches and videos of realized different projects’ by the Fund, particularly, all videos of previous all “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festivals, during previous years, followed each other, making the total Fund’s 5 years’ activity and events’ intention.

During the evening RA Honoured artist, International  Competitions’ laureate, professor Anahit Nersisian, RA Honoured artist Silva Yuzbashian, RA Folk artist Raisa Mkrtchian gave a holiday mood to the evening with their speeches.
     At the end of the evening performed Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan, who first thanked Fund’s whole staff and Trustees’ Council for joint work and undertakings of 5 years, then, all those organizations, who estimated Fund’s 5 year’s activity with different encouraging awards, congratulatory messages and letters. 
     With special gratitude Executive director directed her word of thankfulness to Fund’s those partners, with whom, within different project spheres, constantly cooperated the Fund, particularly, “Ovacia” Production Center, “Twiga” Advertising Company, “Shirak” Hotel, Armenian educational and cultural Union of Hamazgain, AGBU, several state ensembles of Armenia, RA Regional Councils, famous workers of culture and etc.
At the end of her speech, Executive director expressed her thankfulness to Fund’s constant partners and evening announcers – Zaruhi Karapetian and Karen Kocharian, awarding them Fund’s letters of thanks.

Evening was ended with Arno Babadzanian’s song “Azg Parapants”, performed by Raisa Mkrtchian.

     On November 6, 2010, by TV-5 channel’s invitation, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan was on a visit to “Evening Show with Mark Saghatelian” TV program. Invitation from Armenian community of Kharkov

     By invitation of Kharkov region’s Armenian community, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian will set off to Kharkov on September 21, 2009, to participate during events of “Armenian cultural day”, devoted to “Independence day” of Armenia, organized by the community.
     Within the sphere of events are foreseen also discussions of 2010 “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival’s organization and Ukraine Armenian communities’ participation to the mentioned Festival.

Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s Conference


“One nation, one culture” Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s sitting was held on September 9, which was presided over by RA Minister of Diaspora, Council’s president Hranush Hakobyan.

On the sitting’s agenda was the question of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival” program of 2010, where “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian performed with the report of the above mentioned. She mentioned that Festival’s arrangement conception comes from the theses of RA national security strategy, RA president’s political program and RA government program.

In 2010 “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival will be arranged during the whole year in the capital of RA, regions and Artsakh. Besides, cultural events will be combined with cultural workers’ professional congresses’, “round tables” and discussions’ arrangement. Is foreseen, that with those results will be established four Pan Armenian escorts of Armenian executive art, theatrical workers, painters and sculptors, journalists.

In April will be arranged events of fine arts and sculptor sphere, among them – Fine art’s Pan Armenian exhibition devoted to Great Genocide’s 95th Anniversary. On May 3rd ten- day period will be organized weeks of Armenian literature, on August 3rd ten- day period – theatrical art, on October 3rd ten- day period – Armenian press. Summarizing program’s discussion results, Mrs. Hakobian mentioned, that are formed           “One nation, one culture” Festivals’ arrangement traditions, and that Pan Armenian event receives a new respiration in virtue of  newly  - created RA ministry of  Diaspora’s active participation to the Festival organization. She attached importance to Festival’s organization works’ on time realization, specially Diaspora communities’ cultural workers’, ensembles’ and groups’ participation duly organization.

Mrs. Minister offered creative unions’ leaders to lucidity the programs of 2010 Festival arrangements, according to spheres and submit proper suggestions during one month, also with Festival arrangement’s expenses’ budget application form’s mount aim. She attached importance to the conference hold, devoted to “One nation, one culture” Festival hymn’s competition, Western Armenian language teaching in Diaspora, as well as, master classes’ programs’ increase, according to spheres.

Mrs. Hakobian underlined, that with the aim of Diaspora greater number communities’ and creators’ participation secure, will be activated works with RA diplomatic representatives’ and Pan Armenian structures’ church dioceses in other states, will be used Armenia and Diaspora printed, launched and online mass media opportunities, also – “Armenians today” online newspaper of RA Ministry of Diaspora.

     We inform, that “One nation, one culture” Fund submitted an application form for Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 (ENPI CBC), for declared grant competition. Information about the mentioned competition is located in www.blacksea-cbc.net  web-site.
     You can get acquainted with the Project Idea, represented by the Fund for the competition here:
     For cultural cooperation realization within the sphere of the program, Fund searches for partners in Black Sea Basin Area countries, which can be the following types of organization:

  • Local governing body (e.g. Ministry of culture)
  • Local /regional governing body (e.g. city council, communities)
  • Public organizations
  • Funds
  • Associations or Unions, etc.

     The mentioned organizations must be in the following areas – determined for the project:

  • Romania: South – east region
  • Bulgaria: Severoiztochen, Yugoiztochen
  • Greece: Kentrriki Macedonia, Anatoliki Macedonia, Thraki
  • Russia: Rostov Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, Adygea Republic
  • Turkey: Istanbul, Tekirdag, Kocaeli, Zonguldak, Kastamonu, Samsun and Trabzon
  • Ukraine: Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Sevastopol, Zaporosh’ye and Donetsk oblast, Crimea Republic and Sevastopol
  • Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova –all regions.

     Taking into consideration the fact, that the deadline of application forms’ submission of the mentioned grant project is till September 27, we ask to submit the application forms of cooperation organizations till September 1.
     The official language of information exchange, within the project sphere, is English and partner organizations, who submit application forms, must submit their applications to the Fund in Armenian and English.

Jubilee congratulations

 
Today, RA minister Hasmik Poghosian rewarded Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian with ministry gold medal –for active activity, promoted in cultural life, as well as, for Birthday’s Jubilee.
     During the rewarding ceremony, were present RA Prime-Minister of culture Davit Muradian, heads of Ministry departments, culture and art workers, Fund’s staff representatives, as well as, “One nation, one culture” Fund’s partner organizations’ representatives, in the person of “Ovatsia” Production center and “Twiga” Advertisement Agency.   
 

        
“Tavush” Compatriot Union and RA Armenian Language State Inspectorate, on behalf of head inspectorate, pedagogical candidate of sciences, professor, RA PSA academic Lavrenti Mirzoyan congratulated the Executive director on her Birthday Jubilee Anniversary. Inspectorate rewarded the Executive director with diploma of RA Armenian Language State Inspectorate, for having a great deposit in Armenian culture and Armenian language advocation, development and dissemination process and for Birthday Jubilee Anniversary.

Chamber Music concert

     On June 29, 2009 took place chamber music concert, with “Bravo” triple and pianists –Christina and Regina Mehrabova sisters’ participation, arrived from Georgia in Yerevan Komitas Chamber Music house. The concert was devoted to “One nation, one culture” Fund’s creation’s
5th Anniversary. Georgia delegation was directed by Pan Armenian Games’ participants’ International Association Co-Presidents Gurgen Heyranov and Valery Hunanyants.
      In the program were included A. Khachaturian,
A. Dvorzhak, S.Rakhmaninov, Brams, M. Ravel and other composers’ creations.
      During the concert were invited RA Ministries, Yerevan Municipality, Embassy of Georgia in Armenia, cultural hearths’ of Armenia, as well as Georgia Armenians’ and Georgian Community in Armenia and other organization representatives.
With their perfect performances, Mehrabova sisters’ and “Bravo” triple’s musicians Galina Bandura /violin/, Nana Kobaladze /piano/ and Anatoly Danielian /alt/, granted great inspiration and pleasant moments to the audience.  | Photos |

Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s Conference

    On June 22, 2009 took place “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Trustees’ Council’s Conference in RA Government, with participation of RA Prime Minister Tigran Sragsyan.              
     RA Prime Minister attached importance to the role of Fund’s cultural projects’ realization process, specially, through sustained cooperation with Diaspora and creative capacity attraction.  
During Trustees’ Council Conference, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan was elected as Council Chair.
     The Council heard the Executive director Tamara Poghosian’s performance report of Fund’s projects and activities of 2008 and discussed the projects and events to be implemented in 2009 by the Fund.

Solemn vow ceremony

Sargsyan street/ on May 8, 2009.
     During the ceremony participated RA Ministry of Defence, Yerevan Municipality,                    “One nation, one culture” Fund representatives. Visit to Ararat region – to Vazgen Sargsyan military unit and house-museum

 
     An event - with a title-leaf “We swear…” devoted to the national hero, statesman, political figure Vazgen Sargsyan’s birthday’s 50th Anniversary, was organized by the Fund in
V. Sargsyan military unit of RA Ararat region’s Ararat country on 29 April, 2009. 
     During the event participated creative groups of RA Ararat region, RA Ministry of Defence, Etchmiadzin Municipality, as well as region’s schools’ providing general education top classes’ pupils.           
     Аn event started next to the bust of V. Sargsyan, with flower basket’s and flowers’ putting ceremony. Then took place pupils’ symbolic vow ceremony and concert program in military unit square.

     In that respect, in June 2009 several events will be organized in Yerevan by the Fund- devoted to the above mentioned 2 Anniversaries.

VISIT TO NAGORNO KARABAKH

 
     Within the frames of the Festival with a title-leaf “20 years ago”, devoted to Spitak earthquake’s 20th Anniversary, took place Shirak region’s creative groups’ concert in the culture house of NKR, Stepanakert, on December 11, 2008, undertaken by “One nation, one culture” Fund and RA Shirak regional council. The audience, in the rows of which were also soldiers – serving in Stepanakert army, accepted guests’ performances with warm. On the next day of the concert, delegation members visited and put wreaths on Stepanakert Unknown Soldier’s, as well as, earthquake victims’ memorials. There was also a visit to St. Ghazanchetsots Church of Shushi, where Gyumri folk instruments’ state ensemble soloists perform Armenian Church psalms. The delegation returned from Artsakh with great impressions.

Several projects, devoted to Spitak earthquake’s 20th anniversary of December 7, 1988, were realized by “One nation, one culture” Fund in October – November, 2008.

     Project 1: Within the frames of the mentioned projects by “One nation, one culture” Fund is organized a scientific – cognitive visit of 80 children and youth of calamity zone – Shirak and Lori regions to Motherland Yerevan, within the frames of which children had been in museums of Martiros Saryan, Sergey Paradzanov, History museum of Armenia, Child aestheticism national center and National Gallery of Armenia.  Visited to memorial complex of Tsitsernakaberd, put wreaths in memory of victims of Genocide, had been in Museum of Genocide. Participated during the festive ceremonies, devoted to Yerevan day in Republic square and “Hrazdan” sports’ ground. The meeting of the mentioned delegations with pupils of Charents school of Yerevan was very warm and exciting.

     Project 2: Cultural 3 Festivals - with a title – leaf “20 years ago” were organized by  “One nation, one culture” Fund in Shirak and Lori regions’ Spitak, Vanadzor and Gyumri countries - devoted to Spitak earthquake’s 20th anniversary, where participated creative groups and soloists of Yerevan and mentioned regions in November 2008. The aim of the mentioned project is to represent the cultural achievements, obtained in calamity zone, during the past 20 years of the earthquake of 1988, the renascence of spiritual – cultural life of calamity zone.
Within the frames of the program, wreaths were put on the memorial complexes of earthquake victims of Spitak, Vanadzor and Gyumri by Festival participants, memorial meetings and concert programs took place in concert and theatre halls of the mentioned countries.
     Events passed at a high level, and symbolized our national unity in the process of calamity results’ overcome during the past 20 years.

     Within the frames of the event, Festival delegations put wreaths on the memorial complex of earthquake victims’, and in the evening took place the concert in V. Achemian Dramatic Theatre’s hall.

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival’s emblem’s creation competition

     RA Ministry of culture and “One nation, one culture” Fund announce “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival’s emblem’s /logo/ creation competition. The necessary condition is, that the emblem must express the notion of independence, unity, and except the cultural elements – our state emblems – tricolour flag’s colours must also be used.
     3 prizes are determined – with 450.000 total sum.
     Application forms must be presented till June 16, 2008 to RA Ministry of culture.

Fund’s Art director Armen Manukian was conferred an honorary title of “Honoured Culture Worker”.

      RA President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree in view of Republic Anniversary – about Republic of Armenia honorary titles’ award on May 26, 2008.
     According to that decree, “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Art director Armen Manukian was also deserved with Honoured title of “Honoured Culture Worker”.
     In that view, we sent our warm congratulations to Mr. Manukian.

     “One nation, one culture” Fund finished the gala-concert, devoted to Armenian Army’s and Shushi liberation’s 15th Anniversary in RA regions, army’s military units and Artsakh with festive in Stepanakert’s garrison Military house on June 26. 
     Within the frames of the project concerts were organized in Gyumri, Vardenis, Armavir, Etchmiadzin countries and  Stepanakert country of NKR, deserving everywhere worth reception. 
     State ensembles, creative groups and soloists from Yerevan, RA regions and Artsakh participated during the events.
