“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival’s “Fine art’s days” in Armenia and Artsakh from July 22 to August 23

From July 22 to 29, 2010 were organized “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural IV Festival’s “Fine art’s days” under the high patronage of RA President, in Armenia and Artsakh. Approximately 1300 participants, among them dancing-groups, choirs, musical ensembles, troupes, soloists and Diaspora media representatives from 13 countries of the World (Armenia, Russian Federation, France, Iran, Canada, Lebanon, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Ukraine, NKR, Czech Republic, USA) participated to the Festival. |
Festival’s solemn opening ceremony took place in Yerevan Republic Square, which started with delegation march and was followed by concert program and luxurious firework. Within the frames of the Festival were arranged various cultural events in concert halls, open air squares and RA army military units. |
Within the sphere of the Festival, AGBU AYC “Vahram Papazyan” troupe of Beirut was on a visit to Armenia with theatrical tours for the first time with it’s performance “Adulatory”. Troupe’s performance deserved a hearty reception by Yerevan and Artashat audience. |
To the Festival participated also Iran Armenian cultural “Ararat” organization’s “Aramayis Aghamalyan” troupe, Stepanakert Vahram Papazyan State Dramatic and Shushi Mkrtich Khandamiryan theatres. Festival concert programs were multi genre, included: folk, chamber-classical, chorus and other genres. |
On July 26 in G. Soundukian National Academic Theatre took place Lebanon Hamazgayin Armenian educational and cultural union’s “Gayane” and Yerevan “Amberd” dance-groups’ joint concert. Warm, holiday mood possessed the hall, cause the mentioned two groups’ previous joint concert took place in Beirut, and this, in essence, was the return concert in Motherland. |
Within the frames of “Fine art’s days” were organized also numerous excursions to Armenia and Artsakh history-cultural places and cultural hearths. |
Festival participants visited also Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex. Was emotive Festival participants’ bending round Genocide’s victims’ memorial complex quenchless flame – kneeling and head lowered silence minute will remain in Festival participants’ impressions for a long time. |
On July 25 Festival participants visited Yerevan cultural hearths: National Gallery, Armenia History Museum, Hovh. Toumanyan house-museum, Paradzanov house-museum. |
Pastime-rest on the beach of Sevan made an indelible impression on Festival participants, which was preceded by participants’ visit to Garni and Geghard. |
On July 28 was organized “Fine art’s workers Pan Armenian Congress”, to which participated approximately 100 fine art’s representatives from Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora. RA minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan opened the Congress with her welcome speech. |
Festival’s “Fine art’s days” cultural events’ closing solemn ceremony took place in Al. Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre on July 29. The concert program was a real festive fire-work by Diaspora groups’ and soloists’ participation, which was completed by Diaspora dancing-groups’ national round dance and traditional “Qochari”. On August 2, 2010 in Al. Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre took place “Arax-Sassoon ensemble’s concert-performance –arrived from France, which symbolized the carnage pages of Armenians, preceded by our nation’s world-spread destiny –our present days and belief towards our country and nation’s tomorrow day, within the frames of the Festival. Ended the concert program, but, the audience’s storm of applauses were still remaining in the hall for a long time. Within the frames of “Fine art’s days” are passing “Dancing-masters’ master-classes” in Yerevan from 30 July to 5 August, the opening solemn ceremony of which took place on July 30, 2010 in Erebuni hotel’s meeting hall. “Fine art’s days” will be concluded by Chess Pan Armenian Youth I Olympiad –organized from August 15 to 23, 2010, in Armenia, for participation of which Diaspora and NKR youth chess-players will arrive to Armenia. |

Fund’s delegation’s visit to Armenian Community of Georgia

Within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival’s preparatory works, Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosyan and art director Armen Manukyan visited to Tbilisi by “Pan Armenian Games and Festival participants’ International Association” /“IAPPAGF”/ invitation to participate to the creative listening of Festival participants from Tbilisi on February 12-13, 2010. To the event participated also Eghia Mansurian-RA Embassy culture responsible in Georgia. Within the frames of the visit, took place a meeting with RA ambassador in Georgia Hrach Silvanian, during which were discussed several organizational problems, connected with Georgia delegation participation to “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival. |

Visit to Armenian Community of Kharkov

On September 21, 2009, Fund’s executive director Tamara Poghosian participated to “Armenian culture day” events’, devoted to “Independence celebration” of Armenia, by invitation of Armenian community of Kharkov region, in the program of which was included:  During “Armenika” Armenian books’ Fund’s opening ceremony, Fund’s Executive director handed over approximately 100 books to the Fund as a donation from RA Ministry of Diaspora, RA Ministry of education and science and “One nation, one culture” Fund. Fund’s executive director also expressed her thankfulness to Kharkov University leaders and library employees for “Armenika” Fund’s creation in University library.  Then, took place “Round table” with participation of Kharkov region’s Armenian community representatives, during which Fund’s executive director represented the program of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival, arranged in Armenia in 2010. Was demonstrated a video-film about previous Festivals. Executive director invited community’s all creative groups and community members to participate to the Festival of 2010. Invitation was accepted and community’s leader Samvel Khandamiryan declared, that creative groups of Kharkov Armenian community will participate during this Festival without doubt in 2010. “Round table” participants discussed also the question of starting a necessary process of Armenian Great Genocide’s recognition by Ukraine Rada. Exchange of views were expanded, made several offers, is decided to create work group with the aim of works’ carrying, concerning their realization.  After the end of “Round table”, event participants were invited to participate to the exhibition of “Armenian kitchen”, to which participated several Armenian restaurants and food units of Kharkov region. Invited Armenian kitchens represented only national assortment, which created peculiar national colour and holiday mood. The present ones tasted delicious delicacy, of “Armenian kitchen” with pleasure, with Armenian red wine congratulated each other apropos of the 18 th Anniversary of Independence of Armenia.  In the evening, in Karazini national University hall, took place gala-concert-devoted to the “Independence day” of Armenia, to which participated Armenian community representatives, guests, arrived from Armenia, Karazini University leader-representatives, students, press representatives and other invited ones. During concert opening, by Fund’s executive director was represented the message of thankfulness of RA minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobian, directed to the members of Armenian community, apropos of the 18 th Anniversary of Independence of Armenia. To the concert participated “Armenia” dance ensemble of Armenian community, several singers, among them – singer Liana-arrived from Armenia, creative groups and soloists.  At the end of gala-concert, Fund’s executive director hand over diplomas to community several members by RA Ministry of Diaspora, RA Ministry of culture, RA Ministry of education and science and “One nation, one culture” Fund. In response, Kharkov Armenian community head Samvel Khandamirian expressed thankfulness on behalf of community to the above mentioned ministries and “One nation, one culture” Fund, for “Armenian culture day” events’ assistance, for sent congratulations – in view of “Independence occasion”, as well as, for encouraging community representatives with diplomas. Head of community, gave thanksgiving memorandums to the above mentioned ministers of RA Ministry of Diaspora, RA Ministry of culture, RA Ministry of education and science and “One nation, one culture” Fund by Armenian community, as well as, expressed his thankfulness to Fund’s executive director Tamara Poghosian, for personally participating to the events – devoted to “Armenian culture day”. After the end of the concert, delegation arrived from Armenia bid adieu to Armenian community representatives and returned to Armenia with warm impressions. |
VISIT TO RF UFA COUNTRY’S ARMENIAN COMMUNITY FROM 26 TO 27 OCTOBER 2007  | I had been in Ufa’s Armenian community by Ufa country’s Armenian community President invitation from 26 to 27 October 2007, to participate during the festive events’ devoted to 450th Anniversary of voluntary entering into Russia structure of Bashkiria. With international exhibition of Armenian painters and masters, organized in the national museum of Bashkortostan Republic, began the Armenian cultural days in Ufa, where the Vice –minister of culture and national politics of Bashkortostan Olga Nikolaevna Izhbuldina was present, and to Armenian community President Armen Tonoyan was given the honour of cutting the opening red ribbon of exhibition. |
During her speech the Vice–minister highly valued the role of Armenian community in Ufa’s social-economical and cultural spheres’ development process, as well as Armenian community’s construction orientation in interracial collaborations.One of the important results of the visit I consider Armenian cultural centers’ interregional consultation, held on October 27, during which participated also the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Diaspora agency head Jivan Movsisian, who answered to the answers of the present ones and gave some information to the issues, stirring them. After the welcome speech of Vice –minister of culture and national politics of Bashkortostan, I spoke with the welcome speech on behalf of RA Ministry of culture and by congratulatory message, expressing my thankfulness to the Ministry for state assistance and pleasant attitude towards Bashkortostan Armenian community. I gave the Fund diploma to the Armenian community for the Armenian culture days' perfect organization in Ufa, at the end of my speech. Fund's Executive director Tamara Poghosian

29 May 2007 | RA Ministry of culture and Youth Affairs’ delegation went to Sochi on May 20 by invitation of Armenian cultural center of Lazarevsk region of Sochi and Armenians’ union of Lazarev department of Russia to participate in Lazarevsk region’s Armenian culture’s center’s jubilee celebrations, devoted to the center’s “Hamshen” song-dance ethnographical ensemble’s 15th and “Nairi” ensemble’s 10th Anniversaries.

Delegation’s visit lasted 3 days, during which numerous meetings took place with Lazarevsk’s Armenian community representatives, National cultures’ center’s different national minorities’ centers’ heads, art workers, local department’s representatives of Armenians’ Union of Russia. The head of board of administration of Lazarevsk met the delegation, Lazarevsk’s Armenian community’s leader and the President of Armenians’ Union local department of Russia. On May 20 the delegation participated in Armenian culture’s center’s jubilee celebrations, during which participated Sochi and Lazarevsk’s administration and Armenian communities’ heads, as well as, delegations from Krasnodar territory’s numerous Armenian communities. During the event’s solemn ceremony, the Armenian delegation presented the message of congratulation of Minister of RA Ministry of culture and Youth Affairs’, addressed to the head of board of administration of Lazarevsk and festival’s participants. Several diplomas were awarded by RA Ministry of culture, “One nation, one culture” Fund and Choreography art workers’ Union, and “Nairi” and “Hamshen” Armenian song-dance ensembles’ art director and ballet master Vardan Petrosian was awarded with a gold souvenir medal of RA Ministry of culture and Youth Affairs’. The fruitful work’s result of the delegation, Lazarevsk region administration’s Armenian community and Armenian culture’s center’s management was the signed tripartite treaty about the collaboration within the sphere of the culture between “One nation, one culture” Fund, Lazarevsk’s Armenian culture’s center and Lazarevsk department of Armenians’ Union of Russia, which will spur the defence of Armenians and Armenian culture’s development in Armenian community.

Armenia-Diaspora political collaboration is constant, which is realized by RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, educational-one-RA Ministry of Education and Science and “Diaspora” educational center, economic one –RA Ministry of Trade and Economic development, and Development Armenian Agency, created in its system, cultural one-Ministry of culture and Youth Affairs and “One nation, one culture” Fund.
