Episcopal ordaining and oath holy mass in Mother See of Holly Etchmiadzin

     Yesterday, in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, on saint sacristy, said his oath holy mass liturgy Gevorgian theological seminary overseer newly – anoint Sahak bishop Mashalian.
     As informed from Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin information system, Holy Father sermonized duly- reverberating to Episcopal ordaining and anointment council and stressing apostle sequence importance in Christ church life during the holy mass. Sahak bishop expressed his thankfulness and filial gratitude to His Holiness Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians for trusting him and deigning him the bishopric degree, as well as implored the present pious ones and pilgrim Polish – Armenians the power of prayers.
     Holy mass chanter- ship performed S. Grigor Lusavorich Armenian church’s “Lusavorich” chorus of K. Pols- directed by Hakob Mamikonian, who was in Armenia apropos of “One nation, one culture” Festival.
     After Holy mass, under the Patriarchate storey Patriarch of All Armenians received Lusavorich chorus members- escorted by Sahak sacred. His Holiness gave his blessings and valuation to pilgrim Polish –Armenians.

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival’s next start in 2010

     “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival ended on August 23, in the evening, in Republic square, with gala concert and fire-works. Let’s remind, that approximately 1000 participants from 16 countries , among them – from Armenia and NKR art representatives participated during the Festival this years.
     As in previous Festivals, this time also the biggest delegation arrived from RF – 240 participants, then Georgia - 199 and Iran – 172. Participants from Lebanon, Turkey, Belarus, Syria, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Bulgaria, USA, Serbia and other countries arrived to Homeland for Festival participation. “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural next Festival will be held in 2010.

ARMENIANS' RETURN PROBLEM IS PRIMARY

     Yesterday in Ministry of Foreign Affairs took place the meeting of Diaspora issues’ State Committee President Hranush Hakobian with delegation leaders, arrived from 16 countries to “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival. The later one represented the committee structure, joint realized projects, where a special strategy is worked out round Armenians’ reserve, Armenians’ return and other issues. Committee President also mentioned, that it’s necessary to arrange a census with joint efforts – to discover, what kind of employment have Armenians in any country, any province.
     And the aim of “Come home” project is to bring Armenian Youths’ – spread all over the World, to Homeland once, at least. Is foreseen to hold TV bridges, video – conferences several times a year, to publish online magazines in 6-7 languages.
     Hranush Hakobian, attaching importance to Festival notion, said: “Each Festival gave new filling and respiration. This Festival has many positive sides, but has negative sides too. I’m not partial to one culture word, cause living in different countries, You become also a carrier of that country’s culture, so we ought to retrain special professionals in every sphere”. The present ones brought their own characteristics instead of expressing opinions round Armenia – Diaspora further programs, suggestions’ represent, and for Festival invitation expressed thankfulness, forgetting the main aim – to make programs more cultivated and productive. Nevertheless, there was a suggestion: “Hayordik” ensemble’s director Samvel Haroyan /RF/ attached importance to financial – economical issues and offered to fill Festival’s budget with means abroad, cause it will be more possible, in qualitative sense, to invite more perfect ensembles’ to participate during the Festival.

Meeting with the State Committee President of relations
with Diaspora of Ministry of Foreign Affairs

     On August 22, State Committee President of relations with Diaspora of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hranush Hakobian met with “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian III Festival’s participant cultural workers, groups’ art directors. As informed from MFA Press and public department, Mrs. Hakobian expressed her thankfulness to the participants – underlining the role of the later ones in Armenians’ preserve, Armenia to Diaspora tie and Armenian Youth’s upbringing process in real Armenian spirit, as well as presented the functions and problems of creating Ministry of Diaspora. The present ones greeted the idea of Ministry creation of Diaspora and expressed their willingness of cooperation and the above mentioned issues’ solution process with joint efforts, as well as presented suggestions about Festival organization and ideological issues.

“Nahapet” in Hungary translation

     Ethnographer, translator Piroshka Jotian Kraychir had lived in Yerevan from 1991 a decade and as a scientist /scientific worker/ worked in AVA history Institute’s immigration department. Years ago, after moving to Hungary, Piroshka continued to be engaged in Armenological and Armenopreserve works. Piroshka had translated the book of Hrachya Kochar “Nahapet” in Hungary. Yesterday, within the frames of “One nation, one culture” programs took place the book’s presentation. Here, during a decade, I had loved Armenians much and with “Nahapet” book’s translation I wished to show foreigners the shape of the real Armenian person”, said the translator. Piroshka confess that after seeing film “Nahapet” of Henrik Malian was very influenced upon Sos Sargsian’s perfect performance. “That great work tells about a person, who tries to build something on crumbs, in other place. It’s a wonderful example for European people. “Armenians’ will force and obstinacy inspired me”, told she. Turkologist Alexander Safarian attached importance to the fact, that the book- translated in foreign language, tells about the Genocide. Journalists’ Union President Astghik Gevorgian greatly valued translation’s perceptible language and style. “Nahapet” was translated in numerous languages, but this is the 1st experiment of Hungary translation, which was crowned with success. It’s characteristic, that the translator is a person of high merits and being a foreigner could comprehend completely book’s concept. Told, that hungarians read the book with great emotion and she received numerous letters, which was a pleasant surprise”, told the daughter of Nvard Kochar.

Maestro Chekidzian met conductors – arrived from Diaspora

     Within the frames of the Festival RA State Academic chorus conductor, maestro Hovh. Chekidzian received conductors – arrived from Diaspora. Among the guests were Istanbul /Turkey/ “Lusavorich dprats das” chorus leader Hakob Mamikonian, Moscow / RF/, “Veratsnund” chorus leader Amalia Khachaturian, Tehran /IIR/ “Ararat” chorus leader Araxi Khachaturian, leader of “Komitas” vocal quartet of Atrpatakan Armenian diocese of Tavriz /IIR/ Vardan Vahramian and Tehran children chorus leader Arpine Haroutunian. Chorus Company President Davit Khazarian gave detailed information of Cappella activity – founded in 1937.
     Maestro Chekidzian greatly valued “One nation, one culture” Festival’s organization, also that opportunity, which was given to conductors to take part in master – classes. Maestro mentioned: “It’s not possible to arrange master – classes especially for conductors during some hours, so I’ve decided to organize for You a small concert – experience, it’ll be more useful”.
     71 years aged chorus gave 814 concerts representing works of different times’ composers in more than 40 languages out of Republic. Conductors listened to “Anush” opera prelude of Tigranian, a piece from “Liturgy”, “Song of threshing – floor”, “Song of plough”, “Song – file” of Komitas and pieces from “Karine” operetta of Chukhadzian. Conductors with splendid impressions, after special questions’ answers’ receive – exciting them; they expressed their deep thankfulness to maestro Chekidzian and presented their chorus albums and records.
     After splendid impressoions, they hurried to Komitas chamber music house – to Istanbul “Lusavorich dprats das” chorus solo- concert.
     Let’s remind also, that today will be “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural Festival’s solemn closing ceremony in Republic square at 08:00 P.M.

Cultural fire-work. “One nation, one culture” will end tomorrow

     Within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival, delegations are in Armavir, Artashat and Ashtarak right now.
     Speeches with a title – leaf “Amity concerts” will end tomorrow in the evening with gala – concert in Republic square.
     Today, Diaspora cultural Union groups’ leaders received Diaspora Committee President Hranush Hakobian, with whom leaders discussed several questions about Armenia-Diaspora cultural collaboration further programs.
     Hovhannes Chekidzian organize master – classes for conductors – arrived from abroad at this instant and in the evening will perform “Lusavorchi dprats das” chorus of Turkey with solo concert in Komitas chamber house, during which painters – arrived from Georgia will exhibit their creations.
     “Nahapet” book’s Hungary version presentation took place within the frames of the Festival.
     Tomorrow participants will have an opportunity to visit museums, cultural hearths free of charge, get in touch with each other, and during the concert in the evening is promised to be a real cultural fire – work.

Let’s keep Armenian dance immaculate

     Continues “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian III cultural Festival in RA regions and Artsakh. “Amity” concert program already took place in 7 regions and Artsakh, where participated also art groups and soloists of regions. On August 20, late at night, Festival participants gathered round the beach of Scenic beauty Sevan Lake, danced and swore to be monolithic round the “Amity bonfire”. In Yerevan school of choreography for more than 10 Festival participant dance groups arranged master – classes famous dancing masters Elen Grigorian, Srbuhi Babayan, Ann Karapetian, by RA Folk artist, dance legend Vanush Khanamirian leading. The latter, greeting the present ones, exhort: “Let’s always keep Armenian dance immaculate wherever we are and transfer it to generation”. Khanamirian promised dancing masters to help and assist constantly “in the name of our national culture preservation and dissemination, which is the debt of each of us”.
     “Festival day” events took place in Goris and Stepanakert, and in the evening in Aram Khachaturian concert hall took place a concert with a title – leaf “Devotion” with participation of best groups and soloists – arrived from Diaspora.
     Apart from concerts, Festival participants visited Khor Virap, Garni, Geghard, Matenadaran and other history – cultural hearths.

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian III Festival in Gyumri

     Within the frames of Pan Armenian III Festival, Gyumri showed hospitality to “Ararat” chorus of Iran /art director and choir – master – Arax Khachaturian/, “Maral” ensemble of Turkey /art director and dancing –master –Karpis Chapka/ and soloists from Iran and Poland on August 19.
     As told to “Armen Press” “Airarat” chorus member Alice Khodaverdian, in spite of short period of time, they managed to make a certain notion of rich culture and traditions of Gyumri.
     “It’s an unforgettable day, full of impressions. We would like, that such Festival’s were organized much – giving a chance to Diaspora to be acquainted with Armenia”, told she. Let’s mention, that till concert start, guests put wreaths on memorial stones of earthquake victims of 1988 and in V. Achemian State dramatic theatre concert participants and audience show honour of duty in memory of them with one minute silence.
     During the concert with a title – leaf “Amity”, performances of the local groups and artists, arrived from Diaspora, followed each other. Classical and national creations were presented.
     Let’s add that this Festival – held under the high patronage of RA President Serzh Sargsian, gave an excellent opportunity for artists – arrived from Diaspora, to exhibit their art in distant lands, as well as for the local audience – to value it.

The best exhibition in Armenia

     Yesterday, in national gallery of Armenia opened the individual exhibition with a title-leaf “Zhirka” of French painter and architect Zhirayr Khachikian, which will last till September 2nd. “Ministry of culture attached importance to Armenian artists’ /creating in Diaspora/ works’ exhibition in Homeland”.
     “One nation, one culture” Festival is a best occasion to represent creations of Armenian artist, who was born in Iraq, educated in Armenia and lived in France”, told Vice – Minister of culture Gagik Gyurdzian. It’s the 1st individual exhibition of the author in Homeland. 17 works of different directions are represented. “There are 17 themes here, if we’ll look by quality – my works are many, which are divided into themes. There are architectural essence compositions, symbolic works – devoted to Paradzanov and works of Genocide”, informed Zh. Khachikian during the conversation with “Aravot”.
     The author used 3 main colours in works – red, blue, apricot. “In my opinion, it’s clear, why I have concentrated on that 3 colours. Every time working with that colours I’m only inspired and draw nearer to my Homeland”, stressed the painter. “I wanted to perform with individual exhibition to Armenian society, cause I’ve represented works of different years. It’s merely an introduction with Zhirayr Khachikian painter”, announced the painter.
     He had numerous individual exhibitions in France countries and periodically participated during annual exhibitions – organized in France. Speaking of Khachikian painter, National gallery director P. Mirzoyan mentioned: “His works are specific synthesis of size and colour, volume and space. I’m admired with their variety – geometrical invention, expressions with canvas symbolic, design”. According to the characterization of the President of relations’ department with Diaspora – Hranush Hakobian, “Zhirayr is an interesting creator. And it isn’t accidental, that his exhibition “Armenia, my relative” /within the frames of Armenia year in France/ in 2007 worth “The best exhibition” title. According to Mrs. Hakobian, performance of Diaspora Armenia artists in Armenia is the best way of Diaspora – homeland cooperation.

“One nation, one culture” A celebration of learning from one another,
for possessing more love towards one another and for feeling more Armenian

     On August 18 started “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival, which will last a week in RA regions and NKR.
     His welcome speech to the Festival sent RA President Serzh Sragsian, where is mentioned particularly: “It’s already the third time that “One Nation One Culture” pan-Armenian Festival opens its doors to welcome representatives from Homeland and Diaspora and to embrace the devotees, who are the ones to continue and develop our ancient and rich cultural traditions.
     Alongside with all the differences between the Homeland and the Diaspora the artery of one common culture of one nation should throb simultaneously and in harmony. This festival is a celebration of learning from one another, for strengthening one another, for possessing more love towards one another and for feeling more Armenian. This is a celebration, where it is difficult to distinguish the participants, the guests and the audience. We all together are the “One Nation”- the carriers of “One Culture” and one common identity.
     I bid success to the festival as well as very memorable days to all its participants”.

     His Holiness Karekin II Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians on the occasion of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival.
     His Holiness Patriarch encouraged Festival participants and organizers in his speech and mentioned, that once again, we see the nation assembling in our Homeland: “… This Festival is the best opportunity for our culture – although developing in substantially different conditions in the Dispersion and the Homeland, but nurtured by the same source – to be strengthened with their similarities and be enriched with the uniqueness of the various parts of the Armenian experience, all inspired by and with our love for our national values”.
      State Committee President of relations’ with Diaspora of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hranush Hakobian greeting the participants, mentioned, that all – gathered on this stage, are patriotic ones, who preach Armenian protection: “This Festival represents Homeland and Diaspora amalgamation”.
     According to the organizers, such events’ organization spurs the strengthening and intimate becoming between Homeland and Diaspora”.
     As informed to “HH” from “One nation, one culture” Fund the traditional Festival undergo changes in its measures. To Festival start preceded 2 events: Armenian literature week and Pan Armenian film project, within the sphere of which passed “Golden Apricot” International IV film Festival.
     “One nation, one culture” Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian informed us, that 947 people from 16 countries participate to Festival this year, among them: from RA, NKR, Russia, Georgia, Iran, Serbia, Turkey, Lebanon, USA, Bulgaria and other countries.
     Let’s mention that in participants’ circle, as usual, show special activity Russia, and from that country arrived 230 participants to Armenia for Festival participation this year. Besides, Fund’s director added, that in activists’ circle also secluded Georgia, Iran and Turkey this year, e.g. from Turkey arrived “Maral” Armenian ensemble to Homeland for participation.
     From “One nation, one culture” Fund informed, that Pan Armenian cultural III Festival’s main genres are art of music, dance and theatrical art, and Festival organizers had already managed to prepare interesting and pithy program.
     We must also add that RA Government gave 170, 4 million drams from state budget for Festival organization.
     P.S. Festival participants had already managed to visit Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and Tsitsernakaberd memory complex. And Festival days were organized in Lori and Vayots dzor regions yesterday.

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival continuous

     To “Azg” readers we represented “Diaspora-Armenian writers’ 4th Pan Armenian Congress” and “Golden Apricot” 5th International Film Festival works, passed within the frames of “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian Festival. On August 18 Festival participants visited Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. In Patriarchate they met with His Holiness Karekin II Supreme patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and after sanctification ceremony attached importance to the nation assembling process and whished: “We pray for our All-Provident Lord to keep and protect our Armenian sons and daughters dispersed throughout the world under His Right Hand, grant health and vigor to you all and bestow manifold successes in your efforts to greater ornament Armenian culture with the virtuous works of your faithful souls and minds”
     Approximately 1000 representatives from 16 countries participated during this year’s amateur cultural Festival. As in previous Festivals, the greatest delegation was again from RF /240/, then from Georgia /199/ and Iran /172/. During the Festival participated also from Lebanon, Turkey, Belarus, Syria, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Bulgaria, USA, Serbia.
     This year, by suggestion of RA Minister of culture Hasmik Poghosian, the Festival had changed its form and during 5 months will take place different spheres’ representatives’ joint Pan Armenian events. As informed Fund’s Executive director Tamara Poghosian and art director Armen Manukian, “Festival is a best opportunity for contacts, of learning from one another and transferring Armenian culture to generations in foreign countries”. Within the frames of the Festival will be organized “Festival day” events’ row in Republic all regions and Artsakh, during which participants will be introduced with regions’ history – cultural heritage, population’s life-style and environment.
     Festival’s official opening took place in Al. Spendiarian opera and ballet national academic theatre.
     RA President Serzh Sargsian sent his message of greetings and attached importance to such Festival’s arrangements, mentioning: “Alongside with all the differences between the Homeland and the Diaspora the artery of one common culture of one nation should throb simultaneously and in harmony”.
     The State Committee President of relations’ with Diaspora of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of RR - Hranush Hakobian, attaching importance to the notion of “we” and unity strengthening. The President of World Armenian Congress and Armenians’ Union of Russia, UNESCO good will Ambassador Ara Abrahamian also sent his message of greeting and wished success. 14-15 events will be organized during 5-6 days, 10 of which in regions and Artsakh.
     Except opening and closing ceremonies in Yerevan, on August 22 in Komitas camber music house will take place “Lusavorchi Dprats das” chorus of Istanbul /Turkey/ solo concert and on 21-classical music concert with title-leaf “Devotion” in A. Khachaturian concert hall.
     Festival’s closing will take place in Republic square on August 23 at 08:00 P.M. Within the frames of the Festival will be organized dancing – masters’ master – classes – directed by Republic famous artists Vanush Khanamirian, Karen Gevorgian, maestro Hovhannes Chekidzian and etc. A discussion will be held with delegation leaders by Hranush Hakobian, during which will be cultivated Armenia – Diaspora cooperation further programs. And yesterday in the morning, Festival participants visited to Tsitsernakaberd, with a minute silence honoured Great Genocide’s innocent victims’ memory and with white pinks, on their knees, surrounded the inextinguishable fire. A bit later in Memory Park planted evergreen fir – tree and got acquainted with museum exhibits. Let wish the Festival success, which is originated from 1999, on RA Minister of culture R. Sharoyan initiative. Festival proceeds under the high patronage of RA President Serzh Sargsian, by RA Ministry of culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and “One nation, one culture” Fund.

To “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian III Festival participants

     Dear Compatriots!

     World Armenian Congress, Armenians’ Union of Russia and specially me greet whole – heartedly “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian III Festival participants.
     This traditional Festival is an important fete, which is aimed to assist the consolidation of all Armenians - spread all over the world by fate.
     It’s an evident fact, that culture, as well as belief always had been that universal, which consolidated Armenians, irrespective of their political gaze and social condition. Today, culture serves to national originality, language, literature, traditions and other national values’ preservation and development.
     The culture is one of the main links of tying Diaspora to our Motherland –Armenia and favours to our nations’ exist in different countries.
     Festival’s sense is significant also with the fact, that it’s held under the high Patronage of the President of Republic of Armenia.
     I whish success and creative achievements to Festival participants, to the glory of our national art’s further development.

      On August 18 started “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival in National opera theatre. Events of the later one, which started In Republic certain regions, till the end of the Festival - August 23, will include also the rest of the regions, as well as – Artsakh. We represent some Festival participants.

“Hayordik” from Moscow

The art, represented by “Hayordik” song – dance ensemble – which is created in Moscow by “Maratuk” ethnographical ensemble’s artist Anahit Sargsian, 10 years ago, is familiar not only to Russian and Armenian audience. Let’s mention, that the group apropos of Saint Petersburg creation’s 300 Anniversary in 2003, in a view of Constantine palace reopening, represented Armenia among other countries’ participants. Moreover, event’s creative relations with state collectives – acting in Homeland. So, in 2007, the ensemble performed joint with dance state ensemble of Armenia in Kreml palace, and this spring - with soloists – invited from RA and T. Altunian song – dance ensemble. The speech of “Hayordik” in Christ All –rescuer Church in the center of Moscow in 2006, within the frames of Armenian scripts 1600 – Anniversary events, is also notable. Ensemble members, who participate during “One nation, one culture” for the second time, joked, that they will participate during this event with love each year, alas it took place once in every two years.

The strictest audience is in Homeland

Syria – Armenian violinist Mher Tavutian, who is a graduate of Aleppo State conservatory and a 4 th prize winner of Dubai International competition in 2005, was very excited during Festival opening concert. He told to “Aravot”, that he is teaching in “Barsegh Kanachian” Conservatory Hamazgajin Armenian educational and cultural Union from 2003 and tries to restrain check tears of his wards' each debut for that not to reverberate on their music. But according to his words: “Today I'm excited as a child, I can do nothing to restrain check my tears, cause I realize – the strictest audience is in my Homeland”.

Dances with Aznaur songs

Within the frames of “One nation, one culture” “Knar” dance group of Lebanon performed with the program – with a title – leaf “To You, Aznaur” in Mother Theatre the other day. Group's art director Felix Haroutunian mentioned: “Our today's theatrical performance is specific with that, that is fully devoted to the big chanson's life – spiced with Diaspora – Armenia reality episodes. The whole performance is staged on the basis of his creations. As informed dance group's participants, most of them are in Homeland for the first time. “Eyes of all of us shined when w knew the news of coming”, - said dancer Tamara Demirchian and continued: “We all are pure, real Armenians. With our “Knar” we've created a small Armenia in Lebanon . And we didn't change our Armenians. We dance kochari everywhere, and taught our Lebanon friends, but they couldn't dance as we”.

     Participants, within the frames of “One nation, one culture” III Pan Armenian Festival, besides visiting to Tsitsernakaberd in the morning and tree planting, went to Gyumri, Vanadzor and Jermuk.
     They put wreaths near the monument of earthquake victims in Vanadzor. After the official ceremony in Gyumri, the concert with a title-leaf “Amity concerts” opened “Ararat” chorus of Iran. Then, performed Turkey, RF, Syria and Ukraine delegations.
     In Vanadzor square the concert opened “Komitas” vocal chorus of Iran, then NKR, Armavir participant ensembles and performers joined them. Georgia, RF, NKR and Iran delegations presented to Jermuk audience with their performances.
     Tomorrow will be Festival days in Sevan, Dilijan and Abovian.

LET’S RALLY OUR PEOPLE’S CREATIVE INNER FORCE

Pan Armenian cultural III Festival will start on August 17

     “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival will take place in Armenia from August 17 to 23, where will participate cultural Armenian delegations from Armenia and 16 other countries.
     As mentioned culture's Vice-Minister Davit Mouradian during press conference yesterday, traditional and authority carrying this Festival is trended to gather Armenian representative's creative inner force of Armenia and Diaspora. “It's a complete policy for our nation's creative inner force rally, to concentrate round Homeland. “It's a wonderful mean of combining the new generation with Homeland, Armenian essence and originality”, told he.
     According to Vice-Minister's words, the Festival ought to become an incentive and serve as a support for those ones, who are clutched at the national culture in foreign countries, and perceive it as Homeland continuation”.
     According to “One nation, one culture” Fund's Executive director Tamara Poghosian, this event is a great fete in political, state, national and cultural sense, which beginning from 1999 till now, could justify its aim, becoming traditional and arousing great interest in Diaspora's many colonies. The Festival held once in every 2 years received state financing from 2003.
     For “One nation, one culture” Festival participation, representatives from 39 countries presented application forms beforehand, but only delegates from 16 countries affirmed their participation in result. Diaspora – Armenian greatest delegation is from Russia Federation (239 participants), then – from Georgia (199) and Iran (172). Cultural groups from NKR, Turkey , Lebanon , Kazakhstan , Belarus , Macedonia , Syria , Poland , Hungary , Serbia , Bulgaria , USA will participate during the Festival.
     Festival's main genre directions are art of music, choreography and theatrical art. Within the sphere of the event “Dprats das” chorus from Turkey will have a separate solo concert. According to T. Poghosian information, not only Festival's schedule is changed, but it undergo changes in a content sense: if only 1000 people had participated during previous years, this year only amateur art's events' participants are approximately 1000 people.
     T. Poghosian also mentioned that besides opening, closing ceremonies and a concert with a title - leaf “Devotion”, the rest of the events will be organized in regions. 1000 participants will be divided into delegations of 100 people and will visit regions - “Festival day in regions” and “Festival day in Artsakh” within one-day events' sphere. The aim is to introduce them with regions' places of interest, historical – cultural monuments there; an importance is attached also to contacts with population, creative cultural groups, will also be joint amity events. T. Poghosian added, that Regional Councils are already informed about all this, and will have no problems, connected with organization process.
     According to Armen Manoukian words, time is rather scanty, and in 5-6 days will take place 15-16 events. “Our guests besides Matenadaran, S. Etchmiadzin and Capital in general, are interested also in regions, population - living there and cultural life”, told he.
     At present, approximately 350 people from Turkey , USA , Georgia arrived to Armenia . The fear – connected with Georgia , that, on account of the latest incidents, is possible, that the delegation won't come in a body, doesn't come true.
     Festival will start in Al. Spendiarian opera and ballet national academic theatre, and closing solemn ceremony will take place in Republic Square.
     Organizers express hopes, that Festival will also pass with great interest and vivacity this year, and will have a uniting role for cultural creative groups - being in various colonies of foreign countries.
     Let's mention, that “One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival is organized under the high patronage of RA President – S. Sargsyan, RA Ministry of culture, RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs and “One nation, one culture” Fund.

“ONE NATION” FOR THE THIRD TIME

“One nation, one culture” Pan Armenian cultural III Festival will take place in Armenia from August 17 to 23, where participate 947 representatives from 16 countries. Events will take place in cultural hearths, stages and open air squares of RA and NKR countries. Festival’s solemn opening ceremony will take place in Al. Spendiarian opera theatre on August 18, and before that participants will visit Mother See of Holly Etchmiadzin. “One nation, one culture” Festival’s closing ceremony will take place in Republic Square. Discussions are also foreseen round Armenia – Diaspora further programs, with participation of heads of cultural Unions’ and creative groups’. On Festival days, among other events, excursion programs’ organization, Armenian films’ observe, dancing – masters’ master – classes, visit to Yerevan museums are also foreseen.
